Did 30minutes on the exercise bike this lunchtime and then a 7:30minute mile on the treadmill. Stopped after one mile. No pain, no reaction. Felt fine. Lungs felt fine. Felt a bit heavy. Extremely aware of my shin... need to relax because all of my focus is around that one area and it's probably making me run al tense. glad to have that little run (just the one mile) just to be able to run and stop without any pain. will continue to ice like crazy tonight anyway. Might try a couple of miles this evening in addition to a bunch of cross training. If that goes well... might try a gentle four on the trails tomorrow. Being extra cautious about it.
The diet thing is tough. 1000 calories so far today. Only gives me 500 calories to play around with for dinner. The sooner I get down to 149lbs and can start eating normally again, the better.
