must learn restraint... turned up to track last night after 4 in the morning and 4 at lunch... which was the first bit of running since my post london rest. planned to only do jogging, but once the workout started (relegated to the trail cause of girls playing footy on the pitch in the middle of the track) i couldn't help but put in a decent pace and clean out the tubes. the heart and lungs were so willing, and it felt great to go out and push it... but my shin started to react a bit on the way back in along the bike trail.
so no running today or tomorrow and icing. probably pushed it a little too much a little too soon. must show restraint over the next week and a half to get it fixed properly.
An attempt to track the ups and downs and ins and outs of a boys attempt at, at best, becoming a semi-elite (thats at best) long distance runner
