good day so far...

many good things so far today...
  • sleep - slept through my alarm so I ended up getting 4 more hours sleep than i planned for. feel quite rested for it.
  • running - ran 6 miles at lunchtime... only felt a little reaction from mr right shin, and that was near the end of the run when going down a big concrete hill. but i'm still thinking it's only about 10% right now... lots of icing over the weekend. lots of ice in bucket works best.
  • kenya - booked flight and confirmed details with the camp nr. Eldoret. I'll be out of the US for the entire month of September. Arrival in Nairobi and then drive up (over the equator) to Iten... well I'm excited. damn excited.
so today is a good day. friday may 12th 2006 = a good day.
